When I think to correct someone, and I think of these words of Matthew 7:1-5, I purposefully mention the plank in my own eye and acknowledge where I do the same wrong thing. I pray that God gives us the grace not to judge, but rather to be self aware and not judge others by a standard that we break ourselves.
