I've been woring on these lyrics much longer than I normally do. Joey Bada$$'s song Christ Conscious was the clear inspiration for this piece. I was captivated by his lyrical talent and performance and tried to give him proper respect with this tribute. Maybe one day this song will reach him and he will smile. I really tried my best with these lyrics. I hope my fans will enjoy this piece as it represents something I worked on very diligently and rehearsed many times, before stepping up to the mic.
