I doubled the bass in two tracks. The only parts that are not live are the parts with thirds and sixths harmonies after the first fast part, but the rest was played all together.

The drums were from Session Drummer, the pianos are the Nord Piano 2 HA88. The rest is fretless bass.

About MATRIX MAN~
This track represents an exploration of an idea that for many years was back-burner/kind-of experimental material, but finally I had the desire to finish it.
Overall… Matrix Man has two main sections. The first section actually has a couple parts within it, one being the initial concept from which the rest of the tune was written around. 
This initial concept involves ascending and descending suspension chords, along with a syncopated “melody” weaving throughout, with the added element of rhythmic tension created by repeated cycles of three measures in 7/8, and a fourth measure in 5/8.  The chordal basis of this crafty part just described becomes quite evident as this track progresses in about a minute. 
But for the intro, I decided to solo only the melody without the background of suspension chords from which it was extrapolated from.  Eventually… the first section morphs into the remaining section which maintains a steady 7/8 time signature.  Here an infectious groove develops as the bass and drums drive the foundation punctuated by guitar and piano solos.
I originally called this tune “Suspended Matrix”, which makes sense due to it’s quirky suspended chord form from which the whole tune was derived from. But as I worked on it, a light went on in my head telling me to retitle it “MATRIX MAN” (after all… I was the man... the man suspended in this matrix for a month!).
I think the new title’s got more of a ring to it anyway!
I hope everyone enjoys the listening experience despite the technical nature of this composition!

MATRIX MAN (Audric Jankauskas-2016)

About a month ago I released a solo flamenco nuevo piece for acoustic guitar called The Ornament of Solitude in the style of Soleá. I felt that it could have an alternative instrumentation by adding a string section and some extra percussion here and there. This is regularly done by the flamenco guitar greats causing a more ballad kind of feel to the music. 
As I like both versions, the original pure guitar and percussion one as well as this more romantic version, I decided to share this one with you as a reprise and surprise. Some of you already had a sneak preview, but now here it is for every one to hear...

I Remember You (Solo Guitar)

This is an old track which I just migrated over from Myspace. I actually recorded this way back around 1998 !
It's a solo guitar arrangement of "Heard it through the Grapevine" with a smidge of MIDI thrown in. I played it on my Gibson 335
