This has been more of an experimental release more than anything. I continued to feel trapped by the limitations of song formatting and how to do it 'the right way,' but I feel that in writing each and every one of these songs I realized more and more what music and composition is to me, and that made the process all the more rewarding. Being able to say that each of these songs is authentically me is something I am incredibly proud of, and I hope that others can find something in this collection that I may not have.
