This is the original dream which inspired my podcast, An Author’s Dreams.

Decades later, hearing the sound of a beloved toy from childhood can make time stand still and raise you off the ground, transporting you away from the world in a bubble of memory.

Such an occurrence happened to me whilst sorting through my now grown-up children's Sylvanian Familes ready for selling on eBay for new children to play with. I wound the gramophone up, the tune played, and I was a blubbing mess of bittersweet joy, loss and love.
