Spectacular scenery and description Of a bicycle ride on the South Island of New Zealand called Alps to Ocean inspired this piece of music. Cycling up hills,through meadows,along streams,good weather but then the wind and wet tracks. How challenging ,how special.

Droplets gently falling,
 trees come to life with their glistening leaves dancing to the songbirds serenade.
Colours of nature and life,
 a rainbow full of hope and promise shines radiantly over the sea.

A very special lady who gave so much joy
to those around her,
Her infectious laugh was golden and her love was unconditional.
She worked all her life to support her family,her family were her life,
Her home was her castle and all who entered were made felt welcome and her beautiful cooking is still fondly remembered in family conversation.
Her name was Nola.
My dear mum.

I love the challenge of creating a new piece of music from photographs and memories. I enjoy putting my thoughts into creating music.
