Original written by David Paugh. (David always thought that I could sound like Karen) He wrote “Another Day” in 1973 for The Carpenter’s. He played it for Richard, and he liked it, but at that time they were going in a different direction.

This was EARLY Street-Carr at the Jolly Roger in Costa Mesa on Harbor Blvd. Just Tony and his guitar with lots of effects and Judy playing percussion instruments. This is where we first started. The story goes: We had been rehearsing and had learned about 15 songs and then we got the call to start the next day at this Jolly Roger. We had to repeat our songs two times that night in hopes that the crowd would "turnover" We never looked BACK!

We had been rehearsing and had learned only about 15 songs when we got the call to start at the JR "tomorrow night" Well we took the job and just prayed that the folks would turn over by our 2nd half of the night so we could repeat all of our songs. 1972 Tony and I started working as a duo at the Jolly Roger in Costa Mesa. Later on, we added more pieces to the group Street-Carr. But this was just Tony on his effects guitar playing and me playing any and all percussion instruments that I could. This is a ballad that was popular by Roberta Flack.

This Carol Bayer Sager hit from 1977 was one of my most REQUESTED songs. I sang it with every band I worked with. This one was with Tony and Art at the JR in Newport Beach - 1978

This song was recorded in 1978 at the Jolly Roger in Newport Beach, CA. Tony plays guitar, Art on Bass, and I played the tambourine and the cowbell. Of course, we all sang vocals. WHAT magical times these were. We just did not know it then. In fact, one of the craziest things we said in those days were, "at 40 years old we certainly won't be singing in bars anymore!"

This was a Michael Jackson song from 1970. Michael's voice was still very high and I could sing it as a girl singer. This is one of the first songs that Tony and I learned for our Jolly Roger gig in Costa Mesa, California. The very first night at our job, we only knew about 15 songs and had to play from 9pm - 1:30 am. I guess we repeated and hoped that the crowd had turned over! LOL

This was my band in 1980. We were called Touvelle & Judy Street, because two of the Touvelle brothers (Rob and John) were with me. I was the drummer, Rob played guitar and John was on bass. We all sang and did lots of harmony. Rob was our resident comedian and John was a great bassist. We worked up this Beach Boys Medley while we were at T.C. Peppercorn in Huntington Beach, CA.

Judy started singing at age 13, in Phoenix, Arizona, accompanied by her father on piano. All the classic 1940’s songs such as:  Misty, Fly Me to the Moon, Girl from Ipanema and Almost Like Being in Love. 
In 1968, she moved to California and recorded a 45 record - “What” with H. B. Barnum/producer. Later in the 70’s it became a massive hit in England on the Northern Soul scene (#23 out of the top 500.) With this recording, she changed her name to JUDY STREET. 
From California, Judy traveled across America singing with a show band. "Society." Then staying in Southern California continued to sing and play drums with her own bands for the next 20 years. Some of the most requested songs were from: The Carpenter’s, Anne Murray, Linda Ronstadt, Rickie Lee Jones, Bette Midler & Bonnie Raitt.
1991, moved to Tennessee and in 1997 found out that the song "WHAT" was a massive hit in England. She Performed her hit in Blackpool (2012) & Skegness & Preston (2014) to her fans and was able to experience “WHAT” a legend she truly was there. 
In Nashville, she was a soloist with the Christ Church Choir for many years and recorded “There Is A God.” Currently, she enjoys singing songs at Retirement Centers in Tennessee, through Music For Seniors.
