Julean was born in the city of Belo Horizonte, MG, and from an early age, he was passionate about the development of underground music and its aspects. Shortly after, he moved to Miami and created his own style, fusing elements of hip-hop and jazz with layers of hi-hats for beats full of grooves and vocals with a soft touch.

This work resulted in a style of music that captivates from head to toe, with bold hooks and infectious rhythms. His sets blend deep house with hints of indie dance, incorporating deep, danceable beats. His performances draw inspiration from traditional labels in the underground scene, such as Get Physical, Poker Flat, 8 Bit, Cecille, Hot Waves, Mojuba, Tsuba, Suol, and Hot Creations.
