There are many outstanding artists within Electronic Music, however, from another galaxy far, far away there is a human named Legowelt who has created his own world separated from all others. We had the pleasure of releasing a Legowelt remix on our Dim Garden Album release some months ago and now we've released a very special mix where you can listen to unreleased Legowelt tracks and a lot of tracks that he loves.
We believe that we live in a magnificent era being spoilt for choice and that’s how I feel when listening to Legowelt live sets. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Legowelt is one of the most influential artists of our time and a top artist who has always been identified as being in the Underground scene.

Perennially fascinated by old and battered noise-making machines, his dizzying output is defined by analogue textures and classic values ​​as well as an ever-roaming sense of sonic investigation that veers from techno to freaky house deepness via old school acid. A producer with a rare sense of humor.

Danny Wolfers aka Legowelt is irrepressible. Creativity flows from the Dutchman like water from a tap: if he’s not making his own fan magazines, writing and performing in web movies about space weed, drawing album art based on his own dreams or making his own synths, he’s probably making music. That music comes under an intricate web of aliases on labels all over the world , and at Dekmantel we recently signed him up as Occult Orientated Crime, one of his more ambient leaning projects, for the May album Just a Clown on Crack. It was a dark and abstract affair and in that spirit Legowelt recorded us a podcast of similarly subversive and immersive sounds. 

Over the course of 80 minutes, the mix has you suspended in outer space as all manner of spaceships and alien life forms drift by your window. Rippling synths and smeared pads, gurgling machines and silky melodies all stretch out into the distance and range from rueful and reflective to rather more meaning later on. It is the perfect soundtrack to sooth busy modern minds.

Kraków-based Olivia is an Unsound resident DJ, always taking on new challenges. The local electro, Detroit and italo connoisseur has had a great 2018, with her debut EP Skawa finally being released, and more international dates appearing in her calendar. Elena Colombi is one of the fastest rising DJs of recent months, known for her eclectic mixes and a fascinating NTS show. The Italian-born artist is based in London, where she came up as a promoter. An open-minded DJ who doesn’t specialize in one particular genre, her dynamic sets are a frantic mix of pulsing techno, freaky disco and proto-house. @elenacolombi and @olivia-ungaro played a b2b set at Unsound 2018. This mix sees Patricia (Max Ravitz) blending tracks from an array of the producer/DJ’s fellow Ghostly International artists - Matthew Dear, Matrixxmann and Steve Hauschildt to name a few. In doing so, Patricia demonstrates just how adept Ghostly artists have been at spinning the club sounds of the label’s Michigan birthplace to innovative new ends. Busybody Drexciyan machine-funk, stern techno stomps, broken-beat club numbers and leftfield house jams all feature here, and the mix closes out with a few minutes of dreamstate ambience from Mary Lattimore. Patricia’s own productions are sprinkled throughout - as well as ‘You Open Me (Differences Mix)’ we also get the woozy, weightless electronics of ‘Ctenophora’ and the skittering electro jam ‘Dr. Oetker’s Ristorante’, both of which featured on Patricia’s 2020 Ghostly drop Maxyboy.
