Kicking off a week of strong sounds and emotions, LONG PLAY has been released this October 6 exclusively on Beatport and Minus; an assembled repertoire of musical milestones that also serves to emphasise the excellent teamwork that Paco Osuna and Minus have forged throughout the years. With TRAIN TO BALTIMORERemix (Minus 2010) Paco Osuna culminates a series of four free tracks forming part of a celebration a tremendous career spanning two decades. 

TRAIN TO BALTIMORE Remix, included on Down EP, is a production launched in September of 2010 and comes from Ambivalent´s original track. It is the second version produced by Paco on that label. 

“This is not the first I remix I did on Minus, it is the second; the first was also for Ambivalent´s RU OK, launched in 2007. To me, Train to Baltimore Remix is particularly special because Kevin (Ambivalent) is an excellent friend of mine. I love and respect him. I really like his music. That year he gave me the promos, I really liked the original and wanted to remix it, so much that originally I was going to release it on my label but Richie thought they were excellent cuts, both the original and the remix, and asked for them for Minus.” Paco Osuna

With the gift of this track, Paco Osuna celebrates 20 years of his own musical story and also appreciates the support of all those who have been there with him from the very beginning, the ones that are still there today and those who have joined along the way. The release of this LP is another significant step in Paco Osuna´s LONG PLAY career; a reflection of years of effort, dedication and passion for his profession.

TRAIN TO BALTIMORE (Paco Osuna remix) will be available for free download on Soundcloud Oficial de Paco for 24 hours starting at midday on Wednesday October 8th.

Dando inicio a una semana de emociones sonoras, LONG PLAY ha sido lanzado este 6 de octubre exclusivamente en Minus y en Beatport; lo que ha conformado  un repertorio de hitos musicales y que al mismo tiempo que acentúa la excelente mancuerna que Paco Osuna y Minus han formado a través de los años. Así, con Train to Baltimore Remix (Minus 2010) Paco Osuna culmina la serie de cuatro tracks de regalo y que ha tenido como motivo de la celebración de dos tremendas décadas de carrera artística. 

Train to Baltimore Remix, incluido en Down EP, es una producción lanzada en Septiembre de 2010, deviene del track original de Ambivalent y representa la segunda versión producida por Paco para ese sello.

“Este no es el primer remix que hice en Minus, es el segundo, el primero fue al track R U OK de Ambivalent lanzado en 2007. Train to Baltimore Remix es en particular especial ya que Kevin (Ambivalent) es excelente amigo mío, lo quiero, respeto y me gusta mucho su música. Ese año él me pasó los promos, me gustó mucho el original y deseaba remezclarlo, de tal forma que originalmente lo iba a sacar en mi sello pero a Richie le parecieron excelentes cortes, tanto el original como el remix, y los pidió para Minus.”

Con este track de regalo Paco Osuna festeja sus 20 años de historia musical y agradece al mismo tiempo el apoyo de todas aquellas personas que han estado con él desde el inicio, que siguen hasta ahora y que se han sumado en el camino. El lanzamiento de este LP es un paso más en la carrera LONG PLAY de Paco Osuna, es el reflejo de años de esfuerzo, dedicación y pasión por su profesión.

Since I was a wee lass, I have been obsessed with furry felines. They captured my heart, imagination, and probably gave me toxoplasmosis. But I digress. When Dani Deahl approached me with her cat-themed banger, I was all in for a release on Play Me. But I felt the song simply needed MOAR CATS. So I remixed it complete with ALL THE CATS. Yes, those synths are MADE OF CATS. However, no cats were harmed in the making of this remix.
