Jules Wells is from Bordeaux, France. He started Djing in the late 90’s, and released his first productions in 2008 on Logos Recordings.
Strongly influenced by the Motor City, Jules already
released material on several respected Detroit-based labels like Electrofunk, Submerge Recordings, Twilight 76 Rec, and RPD, but also on various labels such as Lo-deep (France), Purebox (Japan) and Logos (Macedonia). These EPs received massive support from many Djs, including Laurent Garnier, Underground Resistance, Carl Cox, Monika Kruse and Derrick May.
As a DJ, he closed for top artists like Kevin Saunderson, Rolando or Octave One, Derrick May and also had one of his notoriously soulful and groovy sets broadcasted by Underground Resistance.
We Know Jules Wells especially for he's Track "Song4Clara" on KMS Records. This Ep received massive support by many Dj's in the world. Laurent Garnier was inspired by it to do his track "Enchanté".
Jules teamed up in 2014 with Laurent Maldo for what turns
out to be an explosive collaboration on Kevin
Saunderson’s legendary label KMS, followed by a
remix on Carl Craig’s imprint Planet e and an
eagerly-awaited EP on Astropolis Records.
He teamed also with Taho on the Labels Organik Records and Kms Records .
