Ils n’étaient pas encore nés au firmament de la "French Touch" et pourtant sur leurs Smartphones tournent en boucle les classiques des Supermen Lovers et Daft Punk.

Jules&Jim est formé d’un collectif de jeunes DJ, producteurs et chanteurs établis aux quatre coins du monde et dont la naissance doit autant aux réseaux sociaux qu’à une volonté affichée de rendre hommage au sons house des origines, avec ce qu’il faut de samples filtrés (ici rejoué,  le « Brother Louie » de Stories)  et de textes militants pour faire bouger intelligemment sur le dancefloor et retrouver l’esprit de communion des débuts.

Avant un premier album sobrement intitulé " YESTODAY", ils nous livrent un premier extrait engagé “I know” interprété avec maestria par le chanteur New Yorkais Sedrick Hamilton et remixé par les mains expertes du néerlandais Dion Dash, des français Lazy Flow et Bruce Leers sans oublier le parrain de la house music de Chicago Sterling Void, auteur du légendaire “It’s all right” avec Paris Brightledge.

Le titre est dors et déjà soutenu par  Claude VonStroke, Steve Lawler, Claptone, Shadow Child, Agoria, Motez, Apres, Dennis Ferrer, Treasure Fingers,Mike Pickering, Tony Humphries , Sander van Doorn , Martin Solveig, Lost Frequencies, Cassius, Roger Sanchez, Ritchie Hawtin, Carl Craig, DJ Le-Roy bref que du beau monde parmi les anciens et nouveaux du mouvement house.
