Hunter/Game - Silver (Redshape Mix)

beGun from Barcelona lands in Sincopat putting the focus on the Kiribati islands (Pacific Ocean) as the next destination in this particular electronic music journey. This new work presents two tracks whose names, Kuria and Vostok, correspond to the two most remote capitals of the insular complex and also two of the places that are suffering the most from global warming, and may disappear in the coming decades because of the continuous rise in sea level. In the words of the same producer:

"The goal of aiming at that inhospitable place to a musical level is to be able to contribute my part in the awareness of the effects of climate change, because it would be very unfortunate that in 10 years those two songs are still there while the two towns who gave their names have disappeared from the map”.

With this EP, beGun broadens its own musical spectrum without neglecting its recognized and unique creative personality: always elegant, landscaping and porous in the face of ethnic references through the use of local folk instruments combined with complex rhythms, penetrating basses and atmospheres charged of melancholia. For the remixes, AFFKT gives his own vision of Kuria giving it more musicality with thicker and live synths. For the part we welcome the duo Brigado Crew, who offers a more massive Deep House remix but with a breakdown clearly emotional and vibrant.

Thanks to the vocals this one has a kind of Africa vibe to it. However, the track is also very dreamy and spacy which gives this track such a unique feeling. The combination works wonders. Together with heavy brass sounds, airy leads and the implementation of a strong groove this is one hell of a track!

Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. The bus was very busy as he got aboard amidst the dead of night. He was in the outback travelling across the distant desert whilst surrounded by a million others who were all but doing the same. They each hoped that they might make it across the border and into unchartered territory which mich offer new light and life. Some had said the regime was strict and forceful but anything would surely be better than life amidst the dust and hate. The stars flickered up high above as the bus bounced and weaved between the rocky jitters of the pathway. It was going to be a very long night as the engine roared oud. 

Olderic features on a new compilation set for release by Multinotes, the imprint will showcase twelve tracks from some of their favourite artists and producers. An impressive feat with some interesting material nestled amidst.

'For our 37th Chapter, we warmly welcome Italian artist Andy Bros to the label with the 'Cuore' EP.

The package sees the Diynamic regular present his fresh and innovative sound on an EP that bridges the tech and deep dance realms with the worlds of jazz, funk and soul.

Title track 'Cuore' is a showstopper. Full of drive, tenderness and ultimately optimism, the piece tells a very personal story for the artist and affirms the power of keeping an open heart. 

Next, 'Rocky' offers something darker and deeper - an ode to a hero from the artist's youth. Huge, dramatic synth riffs are the order of the day, full of panache and flair.

Meanwhile, closer 'Sunny Day' is another stellar number, richly laden with choppy piano riffs on a bouncy tech groove. Once more, there remains a sense of positivity that all will be well in the end.

With three powerful original cuts, Andy Bros proves again that he is an eclectic and rounded artist with a tale to tell. Not afraid of experimenting and pushing things forward, he is a perfect fit for Chapter 24.'
