Once again Luca divests himself of all preconceived ideas, taking the project into 4 separate directions, 4 different soundscapes; but maintaining as underlying common denominators the attention to detail that has always distinguished his productions and his unmistakable groove, the poetic dimension and narrative ability always manages to reach its peak in the breaks. Yes, because Luca always takes sound snapshots, sounds that become images, stories that arise from the imagery as always linked to travel and that continues to inspire the Italian DJ and producer: so passionate, deep, never cold. From the African hints in Above the Line to the melodies of the title track, Genesis, bringing us back with its atmosphere to the Middle East. Anaconda could be a journey into the darkness of space, while Fireflies and Crickets
written with The Box (Trio) brings us back to a bucolic dimension we experienced as children. The EP will be released both on vinyl and as a two part digital release.

The latest release from Cid Inc's Replug Records welcomes Dmitry Molosh to the label for his debut EP. The Belarus based artist is coming off the best year of his career in 2015. Dmitry's modern approach to progressive music caught the attention of Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, both of whom played and charted several of his productions throughout the year. 2016 holds great promise as well with forthcoming material signed to Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records. Beginning the new year in style Dmitry now presents his debut EP for Replug Records entitled 'Boa'.

Dmitry's tightly constructed grooves and smooth rhythmic cadence were one of the underground's true sonic delights last year. The lead track 'Boa' stretches those boundaries further and might just be his finest work to date. Anchored by a pair of offset bass stabs and distinctive kicks, Dmitry begins to take you on a journey through the dark realms of progressive techno. Mystical sweeps complement the electronic underbelly, before a wall of white noise reveals a tonal theme and rugged lead line. It's boundless energy carries it with ease into the main break, where a sequence of sonic decay precedes an impactful build, ultimately reigniting the groove for a stellar finish.

The EP's second selection 'Vapour' finds Dmitry unleashing a large peak time creation that's full of unique design qualities. Bulging bass swells, trailing effects and a lone acid line set the piece in motion, while waves of percussion and a galloping groove lay down a mesmerizing vibe. As the first act peaks, indistinct vocals and grinding electronics converge for a psychedelic audio collage, further obliterating the senses. The tracks centrepiece is another highlight with its intense acidic build and heightened state of mind. It all amounts to another huge finale from the Belarusian artist, guaranteed for dance floor success.

The release concludes with 'Heavy Machine', which finds Dmitry exploring peak time territory with one of his most techno inspired creations to date. Backed by the EP's most ferocious groove, it sits nicely alongside the previous two cuts as a more energetic complement. Once again Dmitry carves out a beefy foundation and scintillating designs, before eerie vocal elements pierce the air while clusters of claps add further electricity to the mix. The vocal storyboard continues into the break where the mystical surroundings converge for an amazing moment, making for an unforgettable conclusion to the release. For a producer that had an amazing year in 2015, Dmitry has certainly raised the bar with this three track collection. Already a highlight in many of Cid Inc's recent sets this is one EP that you don't want to miss.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

The 37th release on Cid Inc's Replug Records welcomes Michael, Levan, Stiven Rivic and Desaturate to the label for their first collaborative project. The trio of Michael, Levan and Stiven Rivic have firmly etched their place in progressive music history. As founders of both Kunai Records and Mistique Music the duo also boast a discography that includes releases on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat imprint. Meanwhile Janko Dragovic aka Desaturate, formerly one half of the long running Progress Inn duo, went solo a year ago with exceptional results. The Serbian artist's first ever EP enjoyed an extended stay in Beatport's Top 20 and a midyear appearance on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeats Volume 3 proved to be the icing on the cake. Now for Replug's 37th release we see Michael, Levan, Stiven and Desaturate presenting their first single together entitled 'Trauma', alongside remixes from Cid Inc and Orsen. 

The first interpretation of 'Trauma' is provided by Cid Inc. who is returning to his home imprint for the 22nd time.  2015 was a momentous year for the Swedish born producer. Beginning with ‘Guardian’ on Lost & Found Records and moving through a variety of top releases from a Sudbeat EP, to a gorgeous remix of Simos Tagias & Jorgio Kioris ‘Exist'. It was not only a landmark year in the studio but on the road as well, with an increasingly busy gig schedule capped off by an end of year tour in India / Indonesia. A renewed focus on running Replug has also further ignited Cid Inc's passion for writing cutting edge progressive techno. His interpretation of 'Trauma' reshapes the groove into something equally funky but much more menacing. It's acid tinged hooks and spacious roll back a framework of ominous motifs, before leading to a preliminary break of eerie pads. Reprocessed vocals along with radiant percussion only enhance the prophetic vibe, eventually leading to a final break of escalating tension, followed by a huge drop and waves of sonic decay. This one's big and expect to be hearing it a lot in the coming months.
