I've been tinkering with music since I was a kid, composing tunes for fun. Nowadays, I mainly write orchestral scores for video games. Alongside this, with an extensive career in the games industry as a tools programmer I've now focused my skills on developing next-generation sample libraries and music software.

Hello! I’m Christopher Ake, a Tennessee-based music artist dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sound and creativity. Over the years, I’ve explored a variety of musical styles, blending elements of genres in ways that break traditional rules. Through this journey, I coined the term “UnMusic” to capture the essence of my work- music that defies classification, experiments with new ideas, and challenges the norms of what we expect from a song. 'UnMusic' is about creating a sonic experience that resonates emotionally and intellectually, whether it’s through a blend of raw energy, subtle nuances, or unexpected twists. It’s about freedom- freedom to express myself, explore new sounds, and tell stories in ways that feel true to me.
