Two brothers, surname Summers. London rap duo Summers Sons drop ‘One’, the last single before the release of their album project ‘Still Nothing Still’ (12.04.). Turt and Slim have updated their beloved jazz rap sound with a more electronic, trip-hoppy vibe.

Turt: “I wrote this one after getting beat up and robbed. Again. Last time they had me eating through a straw for two weeks! Fear is vital to teach us what’s safe, but staying on guard is exhausting when your environment is dangerous. Eventually that fear turns to anger. Anger turns to desperation. Everyone has a breaking point; a cornered animal is a dangerous one. And there’s a lot of people in desperate situations.“

‘Still Nothing Still’ will be available digital and on LP on April 12th and is accompanied by a dope short-film by Seb Luke-Virgo
