Jazz Rap group Summers Sons share the first single “Rose Shades” off their “Nostalgia” deluxe version. On “Rose Shades”, brothers Slim (Beats) and Turt (Rap) come to terms with their past: “Thinking back how it used to be / Before the births and the eulogy / Thinking back how it was before / Fifteen on the front door.”

The two brothers from South London are family-men now and that is to be heard in the matured sound on ‘Nostalgia’, their fourth album for Melting Pot Music. With “Nostalgia”, Summers Sons have crafted a beautiful coming-of-age rap album from a 90’s baby perspective. The “Nostalgia” deluxe version contains of 8 tracks: two vocal remixes + instrumentals, two unreleased vocal tracks and two beat remixes.

Since 2018, Summers Sons have released three albums on Melting Pot Music that have accumulated over 27 Mio streams to date. Summers Sons and C.Tappin are members of The Silhouettes Project and kicked off their own label Lightworks earlier this year. Turt and Tappin are also two thirds of Syrup alongside Cologne producer Twit One. Their album “Rosy Lee” came out last year on MPM.
