Not trying to find excuses but..a  lot has changed and a lot is going to change in the next couple of weeks. As soon as everything will settle down a bit, I will get back on track and write two songs in the same week! ;) 

ANYWAY, song number 28! 
this one is very personal. It's for and about my Mumma! I think any mum can relate to this song. We as children only know a part of our mum's story, we don't know their whole world, their open wounds, or traumas. The mother-daughter relationship can be really complicated but it can also carry the most special moments and memories. 

I got really emotional writing this song. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Oh MAN! Life, living with my parents, work, everything is honestly a bit much atm so yeah..I missed another week! BUT HEY! I'm not giving up! I'll get back on track soon! :) 

This song is about the racist, selfish karens and kevins I met during my first few years in the UK. Now it doesn't happen so much, but at the very beginning of my experience in Brighton, some people genuinely thought I wasn't smart because of the way I speak. This is why I became obsessed with changing my accent and hide my nationality. I didn't want people to treat me differently or not listen to my ideas because of my poor language skills. 

I'm learning to accept myself and don't listen to anyone who judges me without knowing my story. I hope any foreigner that lives or lived abroad can relate to this. We're fucking amazing! DONT FORGET THAT!

Here's another song on my lovely UKE! :D I've been teaching guitar, ukulele, and vocals online since october 2020. It has been a bumpy ride but I love how much I've been improving each instrument! There's still a lot I need to learn, especially on the ukulele, but my technique is definitely improving! so let's goo!! 

About this song, please guys don't get me wrong, I ADORE music nerds. They fascinate me so much. I just feel intimidated by their incredible talent and knowledge! Sometimes they made me feel like I should know all the aspects of music theory to be a REAL musician. When let's be honest, that's utter bullshit! It's the same concept as "I should have this degree or master otherwise I won't be valued enough". Nowadays, it's all about the hustle (a bit of luck) and a lot of patience. Things work out in ways we never expect them to. So, my friends, WORK A LITTLE HARDER AND CARE A LITTLE LESS! <3

FINALLY I GET TO SHARE THIS BEAUTY! 
Last july/august I had an idea for a song. I was listening to Stan by Eminem ft Dido, I scribbled down some words and found a nice chord progression. I needed to find a rapper to duet this with me and add a different flavor to the song so, of course, I instantly thought of my dear friend Marco aka, Zelda. We've been supporting each other's work for years. I always wanted to write something together. I asked him and after a couple of days, he sent those fantastic lines!! The mix of italian and english was exactly what we needed for this song! I'm in love with what we managed to create (considering we never actually met in person and did everything from two different cities!) 
I cant wait to record this song properly in the new year! Enjoy it! GRAZIE ZELDA!! :D

i wrote this song back in spring 2018. i was feeling homesick and lost. during this difficult time both of my older brothers were so supportive and helpful. our bond has always been insanely strong and sincere. we have always been there for each other.
