a friend recently told me something incredibly eye-opening about jealousy. it always starts from admiration. we're always curious about someone else's talent and gifts but as soon as we let OUR OWN insecurities, doubts, and fears about OURSELVES take over, we start talking s*it about this person. We start by picking up everything we don't like or can't stand about them, or how they're too much or they're "embarrassing themselves" when at the end of the day, it's a reflection of US and our lack of something in our lives. For instance, would never be able to do what they are doing or maybe they have something we've been working on for years. It's easier to talk bad about someone instead of facing our own lives and what we need to work on. 
SO YEAH! this is how this song was born. I hope this is going to make you guys reflect next time you feel jealous or envious about someone else's work or life. Gossiping and tearing each other down has never done well in the world.

Oh MAN! Life, living with my parents, work, everything is honestly a bit much atm so yeah..I missed another week! BUT HEY! I'm not giving up! I'll get back on track soon! :) 

This song is about the racist, selfish karens and kevins I met during my first few years in the UK. Now it doesn't happen so much, but at the very beginning of my experience in Brighton, some people genuinely thought I wasn't smart because of the way I speak. This is why I became obsessed with changing my accent and hide my nationality. I didn't want people to treat me differently or not listen to my ideas because of my poor language skills. 

I'm learning to accept myself and don't listen to anyone who judges me without knowing my story. I hope any foreigner that lives or lived abroad can relate to this. We're fucking amazing! DONT FORGET THAT!

I tried to write a song yesterday and didn't like it at all. The lyrics just wasn't flowing. After I got my second jab today, I don't know how I wrote this in 5 minutes lol! It's the moderna effect.. ;D 
I know this can be a bit of a controversial topic, you're all free to do what you like and I have always been a big advocate of letting people choose what they believe is right for them. But it's also true that you can do this only after you asked questions to the right people and at least tried to understand what's actually happening. Do what you feel is right but remember, this is about all of us. we're all in the same boat.  #letsgetvaccinated

This song is incredibly close to home and it's okay if some of you don't understand the meaning behind it. Music has always been my coping mechanism and I felt this was the best way to honor his memory and help myself process what happened.

Today was supposed to be the last day. Today was the "deadline" I set up for myself when I started this "one song a week" challenge. I never thought life was going to throw me off track so much like it did this past year. Lots of good things happened, a lot has changed and I'm really proud of myself for not giving up. I'm going to continue the "one song at a time" project until the end of this beautiful, chaotic, traumatic 2021. 
I also have a couple of fantastic collaborations I would love to share with you all. Stay tuned to hear the final 9 songs of this project in the next few weeks! 

This song is about a fictional boy and girl. He's a cheater, she feels bad for his actual girlfriend and things go all over the place. Or well... I guess we will never know how it ends!

WE DID IT!! Our song is finally out!! :D
Chanty is one of my best musical friends. We've been supporting each other's work for years. We first met at an open mic in Brighton. Now she lives in the fabulous berlin! :) 

When we wrote the song, we hadn't seen each other in nearly a full year! Where we once saw each other frequently, we now weren't sure when we'd meet back in Brighton again. And though the past 20 months (!!!) have been challenging, we know that we've got our loved ones by our side, and for that, we're so grateful xx.

happy Wednesday guys! 
sooo.. this weeks song it’s veeery personal. It’s obviously about a boy I dated. we took a couple of days off to a holiday house my family used to have. That house meant the world to me (definitely more than that relationship 😂), but for some reason, I wanted to share that house and the memories of that place with him. Sadly, two things happened: we broke up and the house was sold a couple of years later. The last time I saw that house was with him! It makes me so mad.. even now after all these years. I feel stupid cause I should’ve kept that last moment just for me, I feel angry at myself cause I didn’t say goodbye to that house the way I wanted to. But hey.. who would’ve imagined everything that happened? I’m finding comfort in knowing that I was living in the present, that I was happy and in that moment it was the right thing to do.

I looove the chorus in this song. I can definitely work on it and create some pop/upbeat badass breakup song 😆 
This one is definitely a keeper!
