Stephen a.k.a. @texmex-shaman and I have worked on some epic multi-artist collab tracks before (like The Holy Dumpling), but this is the first time that just the two of us have worked together. I came up with the beat and synths and because of the dubby kind of style I thought it was just dying for some guitars. I was stoked that Stephen agreed to take a run at this and even more so after hearing the results! The mixing on this one is a joint effort too.

LA POUDRE BLANCHE (La destruction)

For the 31st Solar Kama Sutra song I decided to challenge myself a bit and do something in 7/4 time.  I tried remembering a band I heard do that and thought, "Isn't Pink Floyd's "Money" in 7/4 time?"  I remembered hearing it and thinking it was...

...  Turns out it is!  So for that reason I thought of Pink Floyd, and tried to do a Pink Floydish sound.    It's also a nod to Radiohead's "Pyramid Song".  I tried to capture the same feeling that song gives me, but with Solar Kama Sutra this time. 
(by the way, Solar Kama Sutra has always been just one person.  It's just the name for what I call the music)

Since Radiohead already used "Pyramid" which is well-known since ancient Egypt to be the coolest shape, I had to go with something else.  "Sphere Song" and "Cube Song" ?...  Well...  Those song titles just aren't gonna work....   Maybe "Dodecahedron Song"?....  Hmm... That actually sounds pretty catchy...  Feel free to use it!  

 My vocals are used more heavily on this track than it seems.  Throughout the track I tried to make my vocals sound like guitars and other instruments

  And definitely hats off to Pink Floyd for making a hit song in a 7/4 time signature.   How many times has that been done before?!

And of course, hats off to Stonehenge.  The ultimate inspiration for this track

C'est une composition qui souhaite mettre en évidence les effets de miroirs qui semblent animer les siècles qui se succèdent.
L'ambiance actuelle rappelle assez celle des années 1930, en France comme en Espagne, même plus largement en Europe. 
Cette période elle-même fut inspirée par la commune ou d'autres mouvement sociaux plus anciens.
On essayera de n'en cultiver alors que le meilleur et repenser les erreurs qui ont pu être commises et qui font 
qu'aujourd'hui, il semble nécessaire de reprendre les combats qui ont démarrés il y a des siècles pour faire avancer 
le processus révolutionnaire qui n'est plus seulement urgent et nécessaire, mais vital.
