We are very happy to announce Cartulis Music sub-label, ALT Records. For their first pressing label owner Unai Trotti steps up alongside Slovenian power force Eliaz for a joint release. Sparkling Yoghurt EP presents two original tracks from each producer. Eliaz - Ashait 86 is a stripped back acid groover that can ignite any dancefloor. His other track "S" is a stomping house 8-minute bomb that will definitely keep things going. Unai Trotti's - Un Nuevo Despertar is a perfect fusion of Electro/Breakbeat with minimal influence. One for the heads. On "Zumo de Grube" he delivers a more fluid 4x4 techno track with flawless percussion.

Gene On Earth returns with a new music outlet, but this time he’s not alone. After three years spent establishing the sound of his label Limousine Dream through a succession of five EPs and one full length album, Gene has taken the next logical step and opened the doors to a plethora of artists, both new and established. TSOL - The Sound Of Limo - initiates a new series under the Limousine Dream umbrella. This first release is a triple vinyl compilation with 14 previously unreleased tracks. It features Sweely, Roza Terenzi, Dyed Soundorom, Liquid Earth, Sugar Free, and more. TSOL will continue to develop as the year progresses with a string of solo releases from artists on the compilation.

As the gloomy shadow of 2020's year-long dance floor hiatus gradually begins to dissipate, an international calling for hedonism has swept eagerly through the world of dance music. And with it, an unspoken summoning for the third 'Summer of Love'.

A year of pleasure indulgence and accidental anarchy as we flock from forest to field and retake the dance floors we so often missed.

So, as the year begins to gain momentum and the calendars begin to fill, let us join you in the celebrations for the year that we lost and present you with our piece of this intricate puzzle - BIZR001.

The label will serve as an amalgamation of the years of Bizarre that have passed. Of sleepless Sunday mornings as nights turned into days and days back into nights. Providing a soundtrack for that dedicated weekend warrior, sporting a crinkled cowboy hat and a pair of luminescent sunglasses, blissfully unaware of the world outside the walls that surround them.

And in doing this, build a lasting home for our residents and for the wandering nomads who have yet to find a home. Sprinkling a personal pinch of our own seasoning into the musical stratosphere and offering a timeless fragment of Bizarre to the future generations that will succeed us.

Physical Education is proud to have Len Lewis back. This time with the reissue of his early 2000s Joy / Skip Up release. A hard to find record released back in the day in a small run press coming out again right in time for summer.

A side's Joy is a beautiful cut of deep tech house with lovely strings and swinging toms signature of the Swag Records affiliate. While the B side includes 2 versions of Skip Up, both are a perfect hybrid between modern deep house and breaks characteristic from that era.

Naming a track after a techno group this iconic might seem like a risky move, but the duo pull it off on their latest EP for the label. ‘State 808’ takes the whole B side of the vinyl, allowing its loping bassline and arpeggiated synths to stretch their limbs to their full extent.

Extending their branches once more, the System Error brand presents their latest offshoot - Party Bombs. A catalogue which will be dedicated to the peak times of the night, covering various strains of what they may entail. Looking to find a consistent spot in the record bags of the party starters amongst us. 

The opening track by Oshana, “Everlast”, boasts nostalgic synths, and an energetic drum arrangement , inaugurating the Party Bombs Various Artists Series with a dynamite production. Sitting comfortably as the A2 is “Party Bass”, a debut outing for DJ Stroboscope who some might know under different names, an artists shrouded in mystery only illuminated by the stroboscope flashing through the thick fog covering the peak time dancefloor, a chunky slab of dancefloor chemistry, consisting of a winding sub bass, and direct drive from the word go. 

On the flip side, Obsidian steps up with a playful and animated groove in “Hall 46”, smooth sunshine sounds cruising the openair party into fifth gear. The ice cold hip hop vocal samples bring all of the characteristics of the track together.  Closing proceedings is a slinky and enthusiastic power house track from Magic Doz. “With You” presents raw old school elements with a modern day twist. 

Bombs by name, bombs by nature.

Following stand out releases on his own imprint and music on Voigtmann’s Subsequent he provides the groove-filled pumper ‘Reality Call’, packed with bouncy energy and heaps of attitude. Next up is Nathan Pinder’s ‘Stutter’, lush synth lines accompany spacey delays and energetic organ stabs, perfect for a mid-set energy raiser.
On the B-Side London duo The Trip drop a huge hit of peak time energy with ‘Big Trouble’ before Tip Top closes on ‘Control Alt Defeat’, a raw downtempo fusion of low swung analogue bass and spaced-out soundscapes.
