I've played Other People's Music for most of my life, it's what you do as a dj when you're not writing your own.

Always listening, taking things in, finding sounds you like that other people play or write; that's what drives me...

There's a lot of people that have had that influence over the years, on this mix there's been creators and influencers such as Anyo Castro, George Fitzgerald, Luke Alessi, Tyson O'Brien, Dayle Marina, Joe Hendon, Jesse Pinkmann and many others that have inspired me with their taste...

So I've taken those influences and turned them into my own groove...

An avid record collector with a love of electronic music during his teen years, curiosity got the better of Julian while watching Melbourne’s early acid house and house DJs showcase their talents. He then began what is now a DJ career that has spanned four decades.

Since returning from a brief hiatus, Julian has delved deep into his music collections, both past and future, to redefine his sound to make dance floors tick. Styles are no boundary, with house, melodic and tech sounds flowing together on a journey to keeping it funky while playing with your emotions.

With our freedom to dance back on the agenda, Julian has been a welcome addition to the decks at many parties around Melbourne including appearances at the Balcony Sessions parties and the Mama Said series at Melbourne's much loved Killing Time.
