Originaire du Canada, Mood Inhibitor crée des sets de DJ depuis 20 ans, puisant une grande partie de son inspiration dans le riche héritage de la Deep House de Détroit, située juste de l’autre côté de la frontière, près de chez lui. Passionné par la scène underground, il fouille sans relâche pour dénicher des rythmes rares et un mélange de styles musicaux. Ayant passé la majeure partie de sa vie à jouer dans des groupes, cette expérience musicale transparaît naturellement dans ses sets, où il mêle Deep House et Deep Garage à des progressions d’accords mineurs émouvantes et des rythmes mélodiques. Il a eu le plaisir de partager la scène avec des artistes tels que Jeremy Sylvester, Toronto Hustle et Sean Roman, et après des années passées à mixer et à créer des mixes, il vient de terminer son premier EP, dont la sortie est prévue prochainement.
