With the sound of Drumcode’s 15 Year anniversary still ringing in the ears of those who attended one of the labels special tour events or bought the commemorative compilation, Adam Beyer’s seminal Techno label dusts down the bunting and rolls out the party banners once again this month to celebrate the labels landmark 100th release. With such longevity being a mark of the consistency that has come to define Drumcode’s output over the years, it is highly appropriate that this milestone occasion be marked by releasing two new Adam Beyer tracks, The Color Out Of Space and Lovecraft, a collaboration with Ida Engberg, that follows up her Blue Yonder EP from September 2011

Drumcode mark their landmark 100th release with a two-track EP that comes directly from the heart of the label’s operation. Just as with the label’s first release sixteen years ago, Adam Beyer positions himself at the controls, unleashing the shimmering ‘The Color Out Of Space’ with its euphoric melody riding on the back of nagging chords and booming kick. A product of Beyer’s studio collaboration with Ida Engberg, ‘Lovecraft’ takes its place on the b-side, cutting a trippy journey through distinctive chord patterns and undulating melodies that bounce around in the mix, underpinned by a heads-down groove.

Ideal Audio presents the fourth and final instalment of Oliver Huntemann and Dubfire's seminal ELEMENTS series. These techno heavyweights have worked together on numerous projects over the years, but it is their Elements collaborations that have shone impressively as a complete body of work. AGUA is the final piece of the music puzzle and completes the series that first saw the light of day back in 2010 with the scorching FUEGO.

2011 brought us TERRA, firm and powerful with its devastating breakdown. 2013 saw us breathe in the mystical AIRE, harnessing the elements of the previous tracks to build a fresh and magical moment. AGUA, as its name suggests, flows effortlessly, helped in no small part by the sultry vocal of Xenia Beliayeva, but kicks in equal measure.

Signing off in such style has also lead to Ideal Audio drafting in some heavy weight talent on the remixes. Carl Craig, under his C2 moniker, dives straight in to strip the original to its core. A single drum beat, siren, clap… and then the kick. Petar Dundov twists the original’s elements into a bubbling acidic stream that washes over us. An impressive package for an impressive finale!

After having a fantastic 2014, ANNA is back for her first single release on Tronic of 2015. 'Abre Los Ojos' is a jacking housy techno track that includes a juicy analog melody/bassline with plenty of lfo and filter action. As usual for her tracks, crowd reactions are guaranteed! Furthermore, Tronics head honcho Christian Smith delivers a strong remix focusing on the groove and an anthemic break that is reminiscent of Kevin Saundersons earlier E-Damcer releases. We hope you like both versions and play them out loud!

Transmit Recordings release number 054 comes from the Spanish gun Darkrow and includes two original slabs and a remix from Steve Mulder. “ The Gangstar” original is a tech house track, designed to groove, using rolling vocals, beautiful drum work and housey stabs, the Steve Mulder remix of it comes in a peak time, darker form, big room business and finally “Blue Glum” is a sweeter, organic tech house track with warm atmosphere and pitch bend fillers to finish off this great release.

We’ve waited exactly one year for the return of Wigbert to the SCI+TEC fold and with 'Dancing In The Dark Room’, his latest EP for the label, our anticipation has been rewarded with, in our opinion, his finest work to date. 

Having already explored many musical paths in his career, Wigbert’s current sound is an impressive amalgamation of all that has come before, matched with a tougher, more driving dancefloor delivery. ‘Dancing In The Dark Room’ sees Wigbert roll out moody yet groovy synth work on the opening title track before shocking us with his devestating broken beats on ‘No Plan’. A track that confirms quite the opposite. 

Next up is the terrifying ‘Tinnitus’, a mind-melting mosquito of a track that is set to cause much late night mayhem. Finally, and thankfully for our eardrums, Wigbert eases us to a close with a far more soothing number in the form of the liquid delight that is Sunday Mood.

<p>It&#8217;s time for Sasha Carassi&#8217;s &#8220;Echoes&#8221; from a few months ago to receive remix treatment, and Skober&#8217;s interpretation is up first and focuses on the melodic elements of the Original but cleverly adds moody synths which add to the overall epicness of the affair, especially in the grandiose breakdown. Layton Giordani is up next with his trademarked shadowy sound and impeccable arrangement, offering yet another angle of attack. Last but not least are Loco &amp; Jam dubbing things out with bursts of references to the original in key moments, while maintaining a rocksteady vibe sprinkled with discordant stabs.</p>

Music is the main form of expression of Delhi based DJ, Uday Dass. Since 2006, he has played at a wide variety of events that has given him the experience to cater to all kinds of crowds. Having opened and closed for artists such as Jaytech, Ben Gold, EDX, GMS, Dousk and Fabo, Uday understands well how the right progression and energy is maintained through the night.

His sound comprises of deep, dark, groovy, melodic atmospheric elements. With a super analytical and critical thinking mind, he is not only passionate but obsessed with giving attention to detail and flow. Uday focuses on experimenting with new unique sounds, bold track selection and smooth mixing skills, thereby surprising and keeping his crowd connected with the whole vibe. His sets are more of a progressive spiritual journey than a flatline, which leaves the crowd elated with positive energy.

Apart from DJing, Uday has a collective that comes together to create interactive sensory experiences that involve music, 3D projection mapping, interactive kinect visuals, light installations, glow art, graffiti etc. The idea is to stimulate different parts of people’s brains and open up their minds to feel something unexpected and new. Having travelled to many big festivals and gigs all over the world, Uday felt the need to introduce and make people experience the underground side of music in his country, India, the way it should have been done. For this purpose, Wunderground Experience was born in 2013.
