PREMIERE: Voices of Valley - Endless Panorama (Original mix) [KATERMUKKE]

Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th next to the legendary Jam & Spoon 'Watch Out For Stella Mix' and the original vocal mix from 1990.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. The track was originally released on one of the most iconic trance labels in Belgium's history and has been specially remastered for this 2021 release.

The idea to remix 'The Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a new The Age Of Love. We're ready."

'The Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance.

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Endrik Schroeder opens the ball with the pure warehouse banger "Automated" ! The track's sonic intensity never falters, driven by a relentless rhythmic structure and saturated synthetic textures. The modulated layers and the syncopated break recreate the visceral urgency worthy of the underground raves of the 90s.
 
With "Happy End," Brandski distils a contagious euphoria, designed to set the dancefloor ablaze with collective joy. A leading figure of the Italian-French new wave, he creates a track as jubilant as it is unstoppable, where rhythmic mastery flirts with festive instinct. An invitation to luminous abandon: arms raised, shared smiles, communion guaranteed.
 
With "Eldorado" John Lord Fonda reaffirms his status as a key ambassador of French techno on the international scene. The track unfolds a relentless, extremely tense groove, where darkness becomes driving tension. A rigorous, almost martial sound signature, serving an uncompromising vision.
 
"White Light" by Panthera is a polished track that transports us on a euphoric journey. The heavy, incisive kick blends with atmospheric layers and heady arpeggios, creating a constant tension that culminates in thunderous drops. The whole thing is supported by a deep, vibrant bassline, typical of the 90s rave scene.
 
Once again, Berlin's My Secret Playground stands out as the architect of a muscular German nu-disco, flirting with the boundaries of techno. "Don't Panic" combines percussive pulses and dark tension, while distilling subtle reminiscences of the disco aesthetic. A masterful sonic hybrid, between retro hedonism and contemporary intensity.
 
Club Mayz delivers a masterful closing performance with "Tonight I Have To Hide", an electro track fueled by the raw heritage of Detroit techno and the dark textures of EBM. The track combines dramatic tension and synthetic precision in a nocturnal and introspective aesthetic.

Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born. 

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.

Finally our friends of Think City join us with their first release. Kambo is the name of a traditional healing ritual which involves burning the person's shoulder and then applying a big monkey frog's secretion to the wound. Within this nice evolving melodic house track with an outstanding organic lead sound, you can clearly hear the big frog screaming.

'Surreal' could almost be the title of Julian Wassermann's musical career. 

The Munich based producer is currently one of the most respected within melodic house and deep techno. As a resident DJ at Harry Klein, Munich and numerous appearances in clubs like Watergate, Berlin at festivals like Pleinvrees, Amsterdam and SEMF in Stuttgart, Wassermann stayed in people's memories through his energetic and eclectic sets.   

With his top 10 single "Gotland" (2019), Julian also made his international breakthrough. The techno single was released on "Kompakt" (Speicher), one of the most renowned labels worldwide. The collaboration was created with Florian Kruse from Berlin. Even giants on the scene such as Tale of Us, Kölsch and Joris Voorn clearly liked "Gotland" in their sets.   

Other releases were also very successful - "Surreal", for example, already counts more than 2 million spotify streams and was among others in the playlist of Deadmau5. Also his remix "La Danse Du Scorpion" for Sébastien Léger went straight to number 1 after release. The single "Sirius" was supported several times in 2017 by the legend Pete Tong´s Show on BBC Radio 1. Further productions were released on well known labels such as Stil vor Talent, Einmusika, Last Night On Earth and Parquet Recordings.   

 Already with his successful releases on Stil vor Talent, "Monopterus" (2016), "Aurea" (2016) and "Lyra" (2017), Julian became one of the most successful producers in the scene. The tracks immediately made it into the top 10 of the Beatport charts. With the EP "Monopterus", Julian even made it into the Top 10 as a personal highlight to be able to place three tracks of the release - led by "Monotperus" at the top of the charts on number 1.   

We're excited about future releases and the career of an artist who can’t be replicated.
