New German electronic duo Baugruppe90 unmistakeable sound coupled with their sudden appearance on the scene has heads turned. Rough and moody, yet remaining emotionally captivating, their innovative tracks push sonic and visual boundaries. Baugruppe90 is two producers’ foray into the realm of industrial creativity. Native Hessians, Paul, and Louis didn’t meet till later in life when a chance introduction through a mutual friend connected them. Paul and Louis had previously relocated to German electronic music hotspots in Hamburg and Berlin to explore careers in the music industry, with Paul working in music distribution, while Louis studied audio design. They quickly bonded through their love for industrial audiovisual aesthetics. Opting to leave behind their admirable respective past endeavors, they directed their efforts into a collective project that could fully conceptualize their creative visions. Baugruppe90 celebrates the success of their efforts and a realization of an industrial aesthetic they have been chasing. With the eclectic duo being taken under the wing by none other than Anja Schneider, and their debut EP signed to Sous Music, the future of Baugruppe90 looks ready to be explored.

When Sharam released his sophomore album Retroactive last year, we knew that some of the tracks needed to stand alone as singles, with remixers from some of the top names in house and techno to give them fresh, new dimensions. We begin our journey with the leading track “Arpi,” featuring two astounding remixes from Moonwalk and Dubspeeka and a new VIP mix from Sharam.

Moonwalk, fresh off a huge 2016 that saw releases on Stil Vor Talent and Diynamic among others, leave nothing to the imagination and dive headlong into a blistering remix that shows off the Italian duo’s studio chops. Punchy drums and a relentless, arpeggiated lead make their mix a bona fide heater on the floor.

Where Sharam’s original opts for big, bold arrangement, Dubspeeka (working here under his guise dubspeekaRMX) strips down everything to a raw, skeletal techno groove that paints Arpi’s melancholic lead over a canvas of brooding drums and bass. The result is an eerie, beautiful remix that leaves one with a concrete sense of longing.

'Surreal' could almost be the title of Julian Wassermann's musical career. 

The Munich based producer is currently one of the most respected within melodic house and deep techno. As a resident DJ at Harry Klein, Munich and numerous appearances in clubs like Watergate, Berlin at festivals like Pleinvrees, Amsterdam and SEMF in Stuttgart, Wassermann stayed in people's memories through his energetic and eclectic sets.   

With his top 10 single "Gotland" (2019), Julian also made his international breakthrough. The techno single was released on "Kompakt" (Speicher), one of the most renowned labels worldwide. The collaboration was created with Florian Kruse from Berlin. Even giants on the scene such as Tale of Us, Kölsch and Joris Voorn clearly liked "Gotland" in their sets.   

Other releases were also very successful - "Surreal", for example, already counts more than 2 million spotify streams and was among others in the playlist of Deadmau5. Also his remix "La Danse Du Scorpion" for Sébastien Léger went straight to number 1 after release. The single "Sirius" was supported several times in 2017 by the legend Pete Tong´s Show on BBC Radio 1. Further productions were released on well known labels such as Stil vor Talent, Einmusika, Last Night On Earth and Parquet Recordings.   

 Already with his successful releases on Stil vor Talent, "Monopterus" (2016), "Aurea" (2016) and "Lyra" (2017), Julian became one of the most successful producers in the scene. The tracks immediately made it into the top 10 of the Beatport charts. With the EP "Monopterus", Julian even made it into the Top 10 as a personal highlight to be able to place three tracks of the release - led by "Monotperus" at the top of the charts on number 1.   

We're excited about future releases and the career of an artist who can’t be replicated.
