Crew Love proteges Life On Planets deliver this week's exquisite mix and we're sure you'll have this on repeat all year long. The duo have prepared a lush selection of tracks that really embody that deep, sultry sound that we love here at Deep House London.

In case you didn't know, Life On Planets are a duo from Baltimore who have become tightly linked with Crew Love (i.e. Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap et al) and have dropped some seriously great EPs already, epitomising that vocal-led, funky sound that we often associate with Crew Love. They perform live as well as DJing, and have all the qualities of a big-time future success.

We love all their releases so far, 'Fata Morgana' on Better On Foot for instance and also their brilliant track 'Fork In The Path' - a remix of which we premiered just recently over on Deep House Amsterdam.

Für die 56. Ausgabe unserer Podcast-Reihe konnten wir DkA aka Antoine Verbrugge gewinnen. Über den belgischen Künstler haben wir schon zwei mal berichtet und dies wird sicher auch nicht die letzte Meldung aus Brüssel gewesen sein. Er kann schon Veröffentlichung auf Labels wie Get Physical Music, Mobilee Records, Amselcom, Play Label Records und Brüxsel Jardin Records verzeichen und aktuell ist er sehr gefragt in der europäischen Clubszene.
Mit seinem knapp einstündigen Liveset zeigt er alle seine Facetten und entführt uns in eine Bunte Welt aus Tönen mit der nötigen Patina für Clubmusik. Ein absoluter Hörgenuss, viel Spaß mit diesem erstklassigen Set!

This concept is what I'm fighting for since I started to dj, I mean, give the party to the people, make of your crowd the princesses and princes of the night, they'll maybe build a family after that night, one goal, pushing our limits and sharing the beats to  smiles' overdoses.

"Normally I know that high expectations kill the vibe, so I always try to walk my way open minded and don’t expect anything special from the future, but this time I couldn’t help it. When the Robot told me that she wanted me to play the sunrise set and that we will be connected with the Mayan Warrior soundsystem, I could feel it already in Berlin a full three weeks before… Then when I finally took the bus over to Robot Heart it was even better than in my craziest expectations. This gig was by far the most emotional gig I have ever played. All I can say is thank you, I am even more happy now to be born on this weird planet which can be really beautiful sometimes, when you give it  chance to be free. Thank you you for dancing with me and giving me so much Love. So here is my try to give something back.

The human body is the most highly engineered object in existence, a machine of uncountable parts and unfathomable function. Its workings have served as inspiration for all of humanity's greatest inventions. This work is an homage to the two most amazing mechanisms in that machine: the human eye and hand. The head is a 16 foot camera obscura demonstrating the ray optics principals underlying the spherical lensed eye humans posses and the hands are actuated mimicking the tendons and bones of the body. Together they represent what separates life from the rest of the universe, the ability to observe the world around us and manifest change in that world.

Hola hola summer is over now and I’m very happy I could finally get the recording of my set at Paradise at DC10. This club influenced me a lot and especially this cd mixed by Tania Vulcano, it was and is still a mind-blowing selection and for sure my favo, through my mix I wanted to give back to the walls what the walls of this legendary place gave me.
