Delphine Malaussena ("Chien de la casse", "Hiver à Sokcho") signe la musique du thriller de Vincent Maël Cardona, "Le Roi Soleil" (en salles le 27 août 2025) qui relate l'histoire d'un homme qui décède dans un bar-PMU à Versailles, laissant derrière lui un ticket de loto gagnant de plusieurs millions d'euros. Les témoins du drame (Pio Marmaï, Lucie Zhang, Sofiane Zermani) se retrouvent alors face à un dilemme moral : s'arranger avec la réalité et leur conscience pour empocher l'argent. La partition propose des arpèges de piano, aussi volatiles que l'indécision des protagonistes liés par le même sort, tissant ainsi le fil des liens qui les unissent.

Spontaneously improvised this simple piano solo tune at the October morning. Enjoy!

For this improvisation I’ve used a new: VSL Studio Concert D 1887. I think this piano has a very cinematic sound. Also it has a bit “imperfect” sound which I really like. Honestly I’m a big fan of an “imperfect” and old school sound of a pianos.

I Love You, Too is a collaboration between Joanna and Julien - separated by space, but barely by name...

The piece began in Brest, France with Julien's piano and strings. Then it journeyed to Los Angeles, where Joanna wrote the lyrics and vocal line, before performing it at her studio at Dreamtown Music.

Final production, mixing and mastering duties at the studio were shared by herself and Per Lichtman.

Oh, that is me in the picture. I was about 4/5 years old. I had an imaginary friend, my ride-on toy Thomas The Tank Engine. I was strongly convinced that it was alive. I used to take him everywhere with me, even set up a place for him at the table on a few occasions, try to feed him, give him something to drink. I still have a few clear memories of this. 
Please don't forget who you were as a child.
