Sebalo, based in Cologne, Germany, has been making waves in the Bass music scene since 2014, and he has been collaborating with Roklem since 2016.

Sebalo brings a deep, organic vibe to their productions, while Roklem drives the sound with a heavier, more intense approach on the 140 spectrum. 

Their passion for Dubstep ignited 15 years ago, and this love has evolved into a unique and diverse sound that brilliantly blends the original UK style with contemporary influences. 

Since 2017, they have consistently delivered powerful releases on respected labels such as Deep Medi, Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Duploc, FatKidOnFire, Silent Motion, and others. 

Their work has garnered support from industry heavyweights like Ternion Sound, Truth, Distinct Motive, ENiGMA Dubz and Caspa, solidifying their place in the scene.

Hearing their own productions being played out at Outlook Festival 2018 and 2019 marked a monumental achievement for them. 

As residents at Silly Sounds Cologne, they have electrified audiences across various venues, both locally and internationally. 

They've shared the stage with notable artists such as ENiGMA Dubz, Bukez Finezt and ColtCuts, and their enthusiasm for the genre only continues to intensify. 

They're eagerly anticipating the exciting journey ahead!

Lighta! Sound and its crew of artists are largely credited with bringing dubstep and UK bass music into Vancouver's consciousness. Hugely influential to the fabric of dance music in the city, they are at the heart of a dynamic community built on inclusion and respect. For more than a decade they have remained firmly rooted in many facets of Western Canada's electronic music subculture.

The inaugural Babel Printed & Pressed record contains two retrospective original tracks and accompanying remixes from Lighta! Sound founding members Taal Mala and Michael Red. The accompanying magazine insert contains first hand accounts from the early days of Lighta! and this defining time in Vancouver from community members Jamie Abugov and Andrew Ryce.
