Dorade is back on Formatik Records again! After his debut release on the label in 2k15 the man behind this project, who prefers to remain unnamed and let the music do the talking, serves two box fresh bits on this single which are about dancefloors throughout the next months.
With the title track Jackmac we see Dorade introducing heaps of Funk and discoid grooves to TechHouse floors, playing around with significant cowbell heavens whilst sending crowds to ecstatic heavens with a reminiscence to the legendary 'Renegade Master'. Exactly our kind of ill behaviour. 
The second tune on this brand new single is Argonoid, another highly effective primetime weapon. Fast-paced and functional, sporting razor sharp hi-hats, deep vocal samples and percussive synth stab works alongside swirling basslines this on-point studio effort is about to work hyped crowds on Techno floors all over the planet. For a reason.

5th September sees cherished DJ, producer and label boss Misstress Barbara release her latest EP, ‘Don’t Tease Me’, via Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s esteemed label, Intec Digital. 

It’s been 17 years since Barbara last featured on Intec, contributing to the ‘International E.P’ back in 1999. Since then, the Canadian artist has gone on to release her music on some of Dance music’s most iconic imprints including: John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, James Holden’s Border Community, Christian Smiths’ Tronic, as well starting her own label, Iturnem.

The aptly titled ‘Are You Ready’ kicks the two-track EP off, seeing a resilient kick-drum and reverbed vocals layered over a series of looped-up chord stabs, crashing cymbals and other percussive elements to great effect.

Following on, the EP’s title-named track, ‘Don’t Tease Me’ concludes the release in suitable style. This deep-groover gradually builds in momentum, as sultry vocals are layered over a powerful recurring chord pattern, with further elements introduced for the climatic ending of the seven-minute masterpiece.

‘Don’t Tease Me’ is available exclusively via Beatport on 5th September and everywhere else two weeks later.

Russian artist, Maksim Dark, tail-ends 2016 with his second SCI+TEC outing. Having already impressed label boss Dubfire with his fearless brand of groove-laden techno, the young producer, welcomed to the label family with his February release of ‘Acidstage,' returns with his new ‘Montain’ EP. 

Opener ‘Look Back’ instantly electrifies with its growling bassline, pounding Timpani’s and clapping crescendo, to create a devastating crowd pleaser that is eyes-forward, at all times. 

Bassline to the fore again on the title track as its throbbing waves intensify and then drop away, only to regroup and come again. Garnished by an array of synth chords, melodic keys and wild sounds and fx, it also features another of Maksim’s own demonic vocal lines. 

Final cut ‘Slaphappy’ segues seamlessly with its predecessor. Narrated and powered again by the chilling vocals and guttural pulse of its bassline.
