This one might be a surprise? Dedicated to a new-born baby. Close friends of ours. My way of welcoming a new human being to our world. This triggers a lot of memories of the time when we were young (first) parents. Our kids change our whole life, but in a very good and satisfying way. In their first years, they totally depend on us and then they slowly start to walk on their own path. We still might have to assist them here and there, but one day, they will be grown up. They will always feel like our children. This will only end, when we finally pass. That was my heaviest emotion, when my father passed five years after my mother. I was nobody's child anymore. Enough with those heavy thoughts!!! Welcome Magalie! Please enjoy, this one is for you.

A snippet of"Uneasy Lies The Head That Wears A Crown". I used this Shakespeare quote for the title as it works perfectly in my mind with the tone and direction of this piece.

The complete composition is still some distance away, but I'm enjoying this so far.

"Royalty" will be a full orchestral project releasing mid-late 2021.
