As the deep bassline vibrates the dancefloor, it is easy to see how de Vries’s unique synth adds thickness to the pulsating melody. After listening to de Vries’s latest single, it was only right that he was honored with closing Tomorrowland Weekend 3’s Core Stage with Konstantin Sibold.

Landing in May and supported by a wide range of electronic music trendsetters, the double a-side release found the Beirut resident crafting two tracks rich in spirit and allusion. Also gaining considerable playtime amongst the world’s elite DJs this year has been ASTRØ’s take on ‘Leave the World Behind’ by Swedish House Mafia. Released in 2009 and featuring the vocals of Canadian singer Deborah Cox, the recognizable classic would go on to reach No. 40 in the US Dance charts. Julien Vertigo, DJ/Producer from the area of Nyon in Switzerland, has been an avid electronic music lover for years. Since 2022, Julien has gradually carved out a place for himself on the Swiss scene, having had the opportunity to perform at the D! Club (alongside Massano, Rebuke and Nora En Pure), Audio in Geneva and festivals such as Afterseason in Villars (alongisde Rodriguez Jr. & Konstantin Sibold). And let's not forget his two appearances at Basel's famous Nordstern, including an exceptional closing set alongside Worakls.
