Here we are again with the awaited release by the Spanish Producer Frink. As shown in past years release he is gone into the most pure Deep club Sound. That Frink is having good success and specially this year is something that anyone following the artist will know with his past releases in Bondage Music reaching the Beatport top 100 in Deep House for over a month and remixing Mihai Popoviciu in same label has make him grow, also his past release Summa into our main label Expmental went into the tops of Deep Tech for over two weeks. With his first gigs in Berlin at Sisyphos or the forthcoming at suicide Circus , playing in many different countries in Europe he is  getting more attention each year also as DJ. Antrea: Could be the name of a planet from a Sci-Fi movie. A world with bazaars and temples that are reminiscent of ancient human cultures, but with holograms and all sorts of wondrous spacecrafts hovering through the air. So Antrea is a great name for an EP that sounds as huge and epic as if it really was the soundtrack for this kind of Sci-Fi movie. Even that seedy bar where adventurous aliens and space travelers from all corners of the galaxy hang out has been transcribed into sound: Four different remixes add a proper dose of transdimensional drive to the dream-like boost of the original tracks.

Laconia features collaborations with fellow producers Cioz and Cook Strummer, as well as a special apparition by Sam’s paternal figure playing the Oud on Mirage. The tracks explore a diverse array of dispositions, from groovy up-warmers such as Mangata or Louna to more lively dancefloor aggregators such as Kamala Bani, on to the deeply polarizing, whirlwind synth dinger Guz or the more experimental self-evident Not Much To Say.

A novel detail makes an appearance on Je te vois, an acoustic electronic dance number with poetic lyrics tenderly sung in French for the first time. The artist’s romantic side also shows through the mystical elements interspersed throughout, from the spellbinding Encanto to the dreamy soundscapes of Atreyu, named after the famous German fantasy book character.

Thanks to a modest key riff and more cosmic effects, Aubade lends its meaning of “greeting in the sun” to the atmosphere, rounding off the release on an incandescent note.

Inspired by endless seasons in Ibiza, and the music emitting from the clubs like DC10 and Cocoon, Ray Mono is chiselling out a sound that’s uncomplicated and effective, and on the ‘Doin’ It Right’ EP, he delivers two sure fire winners.  

The title track, ‘Doin’ It Right’, accommodates a low slung, swinging groove paired with a bouncing b-line, metallic chords, and a sweet vocal hook, it is simple house music done the right way!  Similarly, ‘Breakage’ makes no bones about its influences; hypnotising beats and wandering bass cue up an accomplished and decedent floor filler, as dubby stabs and unobtrusive strings add to the breezy character of this stellar cut.
