Following two monumental releases on Crosstown Rebels, Serge Devant is back onboard the label to deliver one of his best to date. The immensely sensual Thinking Of You sees him team up once again with Damiano and Camille Safiya with invigorating remixes from heavy-weights Reboot and Art Department.

Serge Devant has been turning heads since the seminal Fearing Love feat. Camille Safiya dropped in 2015 on Emerald City, picking up the Best Music Video award at the 2016 Hollywood Independent Reel Film Festival. Serge reveals “it was so nice to have the same company back in the studio to work on more magic!” Thinking Of You breathes the air of summer with its blissfully smooth chords and deep hypnotic tones it’s another winner from Serge.

Welcomed back onto Crosstown Rebels, No.19 boss Jonny White aka Art Department delivers a raw, techno cut in his Modular Perspective remix. Maverick DJ/producer Riva Starr burst on to the house music scene in 2009, impressing a wide variety of fans with his cheeky productions and remixes which straddled genres, tempos and geographical inspirations. Now the man born Stefano Miele is pleased to announce the release of ‘Absence’, the first single from his forthcoming sophomore album ‘Hand in Hand’.

‘Absence’ shows off Riva Starr’s indie background and is probably his most mature work to date. Mixed by Ash Workmann of Metronomy fame, this quirky love song features vocals by ex-The Research singer Russell Searle. Initially drafted in with the sole intention of penning a few top-lines, his quirky infectious interpretation soon conquered all, and so RSSLL came to be.

The video for ‘Absence’ comes from Milan-based director Virgilio Villoresi, an award winning “artisan” filmmaker whose bizarre influences (from Polish animators to US underground arts) are clearly reflected in the intriguing final product.

Throughout 2012, Riva Starr graced venues such as Manchester’s Warehouse Project, Watergate (Berlin), ElRow (Barcelona) as well as hosting his “Snatch! Records” tent at Creamfields and Tomorrowland. Check him out on the 15th of February at a rare Fabric appearance.

With the release of ‘Hand In Hand’ this summer, 2013 is set to be an even bigger year for Riva – watch this space…
