Really Great... sexy and haunting.... love it!

Ah, you know... it's a darker song.  Indulgent. But hey artists need to "indulge" sometimes. Loralei is an outtake from an album I was working on under another(undisclosed) name. It felt too intense for that album... so it didn't make it on. But, in the right mood, i dunno... it's got a "feel" for sure. It's not mixed or EQ'd in any way...as it was just a few hours in, working on it.  But this is one of those first take vocals ... and well, that's where we left it. Hope you like it anyway.

An early Sophisticated Savage tune... very early in fact (1997?) This one never made it to our first album. Lyrics and melody by me, music and mix by me,  Simon Stewart, and Jay Strongman. Recorded at... hmm... some major record label recording studio near Hammersmith in London.  Dang, can't' remember the label now. We had fun.
