Berlin record label Stil vor Talent, founded by Oliver Koletzki, is happy to release Niko Schwind's new EP (@nikoschwind)  on August 22nd, 2014. The work is titled "My Heart is on Fire" and includes two original tracks featuring singer Lil Magdalene as well as two remixes by Waifs & Strays and British music producer Dale Howard. Howard's full length version is premiered by trndmusik.

Seine Zusammenstellung “My Heart is on Fire” umfasst zwei Orignal-Tracks, die in Kollaborationen mit der Sängerin Lil Magdalene entstanden. Darüber hinaus enthält die Kollektion zwei Remixe, die von Waifs & Strays und Dale Howard angefertigt wurden. Serge Devant returns to the forefront with ‘Always On My Mind’ for Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels, complete with remixes from Kornél Kovács and Pirupa. First heard on Lazarus’s Essential mix in 2015 and much requested since, ‘Always On My Mind’ has been causing tremors in its wake. Oceanic waves of melody frame muted vocals from Ali Love, resulting in a chiselled classic bridging the splintered sounds of today.

Pirupa’s remix is a shadowy monster with a deviant bassline, allowing the vocal to etch out shards of light. His recent groundswell is undeniable, mapping out a chart-topping string of releases on the likes of Drumcode, Desolat and Noir. Stockholm’s Kornél Kovács has not escaped the spotlight in recent months, be it through his Studio Barnhus label that he runs together with Axel Boman and Pedrodollar, prolific releases on Numbers and Smallville and topping many end of year charts for 2015. His effervescent remix rolls up its sleeves to distill elegance into the original, extending the vocal and braising the beats and melody.

With this release Devant cements a triumphant year putting him back in centre stage after an accident that tore him away from the studio, and digs deeper into his production skills, adding to his growing repotoire of recent releases on Hot Creations’ sister label Emerald City and Crosstown’s cousin Rebellion. Devant mastered his craft at the legendary NYC nightclubs of the late 90s; Tunnel; Limelight; and Crobar; carving out consistently compelling and dynamic sets. His production career started in 2008 and soon spawned two albums, and a touring schedule that has since seen Serge circumnavigate the globe.

Joining forces to create a formidable duo are best friends Matze and Johannes. After bonding over a mutual love for hip-hop, breakdance and skateboarding they soon started to produce music together. Having previously released on Defected, Snatch!, Gruuv and OFF Recordings among others, this release is their debut on the grittier Hot Trax imprint.

In-demand producer Flashmob delivers a masterful two-piece assault on his Hot Creations debut, entitled The Lone Brazilian.

The EP opens with the title track, fronting a funk-laden bassline and percussive, driving drums. Tribalistic male and female chants break the track up, adding depth to the unfolding journey. Next up, Lower Level supplies a deeper trip. A tight, assertive drum track counterparts a short, wandering bassline to form a settled, rolling feel.

Italian artist Flashmob, real name Alessandro Magani, is a renowned producer and remixer, label owner and touring DJ. Since 2011 he’s released on the world’s biggest labels, such as Get Physical, Defected, Kompakt, Snatch!, to name a few, and now delivers his bespoke sound for Hot Creations.

Catz 'N Dogz are some of our oldest extended Dirtybird Family, spanning multiple EPs, a couple albums, some remixes, and we even presented their very first release as 'Catz N Dogz' as they transitioned from their old 3 Channels alias in 2007. It's been over 4 years since they've been on the label, and we're ecstatic to have them back with 'The Feelings Factory'. 

'Fine Feelings' features the legendary vocalist Robert Owens, and sounds like a classic deep house track from the late 90's when no one called it deep house, they just danced to it all night in warehouses. 

'Factory Settings' includes additional production from London's Joseph Ashworth, and from the first note to the last its filled with driving intensity and an ascending cacophony of rhythms and voices.
