What's been going on with music stuff:

This past year has been a slew of hurry up and wait as i finalize my EP/OtherStuff. It's been an overwhelmingly tedious and emotional process, BUT, it's all been worth it. This past year I've been able to:

1) Start my own label & publishing company
2) Sign my first act, my band Color the Lion (you should check them out, they are perty awesome, haha ; )
3) Produce, Write, and Record for both my solo project and Color the Lion (what what!!)
4) Begin finalizing both projects for release in the fall: My first solo ep & my first band ep.... 

AHHHHH... so yea im a  bit nervous, but ultimately excited because... well... I can do this... I can do ALL THE STUFF!!!!

Join me on my journey as i launch my label, band, and self to the stratosphere !

A Bit about myself: 

Writing my own bio…hmm. Ever try to do that? Its weird. Think about it; we have done some pretty great and not-so-great things in our lives, the majority of mine just happen to be searchable on the internet.

Anyways...sum my life/self up in a couple paragraphs... here we go:

I have tried to be many people, have been in many 'interesting' situations and have been called many things by many people; all with their own sets of judgments. So far, music has been a journey that's led me to who I am today. 

The ups: I’ve hit top-tens on Billboard, toured around the world, made FANS (what!), learned a lot about making music, worked with Grammy-winning artists/producers & started producing and writing for other artists as well, Getting the chance to start my own label, band, and new ep!

The downs: Why the fuh? What the fuh? WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF, i should sleep, What do you mean they think i 'sing too much',  i could get a 'real job'; i could also slowly intravenously give myself a flesh-eating virus and watch myself waste away...same difference.

Anyways, on to the real question: Who am I today?

I am Julissa Veloz and I am currently sitting in my kitchen, about to eat french toast. I like to meditate, do yoga, write and produce music and meet people, unless I’m in hermit mode, then I don’t go outside much.
