2024 - A year in keys

The set is called <<The Mother of all Sets>> because the tacks chosen for this ~10h adventurous journey are the highly concentrated essence of my music collection. When I started to listen to electronic music, I quickly began to collect my fav tracks and sort them into playlists. This was the time before Spotify, where Mp3s  and WAVs ruled the world and no Tracks meant no Music. When my brother went to Australia in 2014, I felt it was my duty to support him with fresh electronic vibes from Berlin to ease the homesickness. The result - my music library exploded, tracks came and go and playlists where reorganized and deleted. Among them all, one playlist persisted nearly every change and kept growing to a size of roughly 400 finest tracks each of 'em a masterpiece on its own. Preparing the set, I took the 100 of them that stood out of the whole playlist, glued them together and created the mother of all sets (at least in my sense ;). It starts with 118bpm and continues to evolve into electrifying 130bpm. The initial playlist was named "Bachstelzen" as well as this set, because the vibe strongly reminds me of the floor on the legendary Fusion Festival which is now called "Pane Eichel".

This is the first Future Prog Set I played. 
German Description:
Ein bekanntes Gesicht was Greifswald leider verlassen musste. Jimmy Knopf ist ein Urgestein von Laute Musik und bekannt für seine knarzigen Beats, witzigen Vocals und vibrierenden Bässen. Das Genre seines Vertrauens ist Garage House welches sich zu fortgeschrittener Stunde in Future Prog verwandelt.

This is a set I played in the Rosa Club (https://soundcloud.com/rosa-hgw) in Greifswald located at the Baltic Sea. It is a closing set and starts directly with pumping beats. It has a constant speed of 128.08 BPM which I found really funny during the play.

Oaxaca Hongos

This is a calmly beginning Garage House Set that I originally designed for a 30. birthday of a friend of mine, but given the circumstances of not having a proper stereo at the venue, the plan to play this set was abandoned. The set has a lot of house elements and ends as calmly as it starts, but shows how fierce it can be in the middle. Right now it helps me fighting the darkness of the winter.
