More than a gospel artist, Julius Mwanzia is a worshiper

If you have toured or read about Kenya’s and East Africans gospel music, you should have come across a prominent Worshiper called Julius Mwanzia. Julius is the likes of Fanuel Sedekia, a Tanzania well known Gospel songwriter and worshiper across the Globe. In one of the recent concerts in Jomo Kenyatta University, Julius led a worship session that tore devils kingdom apart. Some of the Holy Ghost songs he did were baba tunakuita, Mtakatifu, sifa hizi ni zako among others.


Aged at 24 Julius Mwanzia is what the needy world needs to have a correct leadership in the path of true worship. In an interview with Julius he said “I don’t give people what they want but I give them what they need…its only God Almighty who knows what they need…I always seek Him to give me what he wants for His people and He has never failed me”


The gospel industry is one of the most misused industries in Kenya, and across the world. Many use Gospel music to realize riches, and once this is done, they relax and fade away. That is why there are so many controversial gospel artists in the globe. The church of Jesus should not be misled; a true worshiper lives for God and all that they do is for God. A True worshiper will not make entertainment the reason of standing before people. Instead, one should focus on Christ’s will.


Julius Mwanzia stands out to be one of the standing true worshipers of the living God.  His concerts and session are a ‘must go’.

Nyamai, a close friend and fellow music minister had this to say, “Clearly, God had one idea in mind when he created man. Now, everyone has this ‘vacuum’ for surrender to a supreme being, and when it is not filled with the right stuff, such ends up falling for anything. It is for this reason that we need genuine worship leaders; that is who Julius is.” He adds, “I pray that people will grow more and more in love with good music; music that grows their inner selves, exposes them to the knowledge of God, and leads them the Christ way.”
