My song, “Taya” is about an artist having a middle life crisis in the duration of his/her career in which I think a lot of people taking the field of arts can relate to. As someone who’s currently residing in the Philippines, we cannot hide the fact that art is often misunderstood by anyone in this country. Artists are being paid less by their worth and even worse, they do not get paid at all. As someone who wants to inspire and relate to others, I think this song can serve as a wake up call that artists should also be given by the right credit that they deserve to.

I love the book so much and I think the song fits for the book. I don't know why but, I can feel the sentiment of the song and the book in the same way.

Hello. It's been 2 weeks (I guess) since I haven't posted any cover because, I've been busy. (very busy) Cause first, I've been trying to finish these two books (fortunately, I'm done reading the other one which is Eleanor and Park by Rowell Rainbow and it's amazing. I recommend it to you all :) and then second, I've been practicing for this competition and then third, I'm trying to compose a song with a piano (hopefully I'll get done with it this week) for this novel that my friend is writing and then fourth, I'm writing a plot for a novel and then fifth OMG FELLOW INITIATES! THEY STARTED FILMING THE FERRIS WHEEL SCENE YESTERDAYYY! I'M SO EXCITED HAHA.
