Happy 25th Anniversary Fractal Forest! You truly are the most beautiful place on earth and I am so honoured to play on that stage! Year 2 playing was a complete success! This year was a far more technical set with a lot of genre jumping. I really wanted to create an experience that would capture how diverse the rave scene is here on the Canadian west coast. We really are a one of a kind festival scene here and I love it 🥰 This set is stacked with all kinds of goodies. Including……. A brand new remix, from Freddy J and myself, of Silver Screen (Shower Scene) by Felix Da House Cat. It’s an old school track that we have always loved and we are so happy we finally got to debut it in the Fractal Forest 🌲🎶

All gas, no breaks! Marking 6 years of the No Fucks Given mix series, volume 8 pays homage to what has now become a defining legacy for myself as an artist. About 5 months ago my brother and I were on a long drive and the original “Start again” by Kidnap came on and we started singing it together, I remember when the song ended thinking to myself that Id like to try and remix the song into a drum and bass track. I wanted to remix this song because this was a core memory of something my brother and I have always done together, growing up there has been tones of songs that my parents have shown us over the years that have lead to lyric engraving for my brother and I to sing together but for this one it was something more then just another song. I don’t know why specifically, maybe because of how sunny it was that day or because of where we were going or maybe just because we were both so happy during that moment and nothing else mattered. I beyond stoked to finally have this one out for you to listen to and eventually sing along with me and my brother.

Since the late 90's his introduction to the underground scene in Edmonton, Canada it created a new passion for all things breakbeat. Going to every show that came to town admiring the art form of DJing, watching others captivate the crowd and take them on a musical journey. He realized that is what he wanted to do. Purchasing his first set of turntables in 2003 and spending every waking hour playing his records. 

In 2009 with a little bit of persuasion from friends Maxx Base and Will Power he was introduced to the soulful vibes of liquid DNB and instantly fell in love with it. The desire to travel and see the world was consuming him, so he left and began to travel South America playing any chance he could from clubs to small intimate beach bars. Ending up in Buenos Aires for months bringing his own flavour of DNB tearing up dance floors all across the city. Needing a change of scenery headed across the world to Malaysia and Vietnam for another half a year with nothing more than a backpack, record bag and a motorbike touring around playing at local bars. After moving back to Edmonton he's played frequently at Zen Lounge, Rose Bowl, The Crown, Krush Lounge and The Rugby Hall.
