Next through the door at NoExcuse Records is Deeper Purpose with his 'Love Medicine' release. The up and coming producer serves us an original that is married up with a killer remix from Tech House mogul Max Chapman; both tracks are set to cause some serious damage respectively upon release.

Opening the show with the original from Deeper Purpose, it features a strong NoExcuse vibe. Plenty of robust drum work and catchy percussive elements that build progressively throughout the track are just the mere surface level components, underneath that you can find the heart and soul of Love Medicine. No doubt one of the catchiest vocals you will hear all summer, accompanied by a rich, roaring bassline.

The remix from Max Chapman is just as enjoyable, a chugging, peak-time Tech Groover loaded to the ceiling with his trademark sound. A strong accomplice to the original, offering a bouncier approach with tight drums, fetching melodics and plenty of Max's punch in the forehead style drops (cue the epic drum fills & snare builds!).

A modern Tech House release that packs a mighty punch from one of the most promising talents in the game currently, followed up by undoubtedly one of the godfathers of the UK scene.

With its newest release, Jannowitz Records is sticking to the tried and true. Dub Space is an EP compiled of four weapons. And the original creators of these weapons are no others than Maksim Dark and Diatonik. Both have been part of the label for quite some time, with Maksim making his first appearance in 2016 (remixing Joseph Disco's Bodymoves) and Diatonik in 2017 (remixing Touchtalk's Rescue). Since then, both have become regulars on the labels, working closely together with Jannowitz label head BOHO and being two of the main players ensuring the imprint's success.We're happy to announce that they've joined forces to create what can easily be the heaviest release this year. Because if you've followed both artists you may know that they're known for proper techno, driving beats, strong kicks, progressive sound and a futuristic vibe. Title track Dub Space is the perfect example of what electronic music means to Maksim Dark and Diatonik. Similar to it's sister track Menacing Rise - you will find signature bits and bops of the Russian and the Indian in both productions, meaning that they combined their strengths in order to provide the best result possible. As always, to support our JAW heroes, we asked two of our favorite artists to remix Dub Space and thereby become a part of the Jannowitz family. We had laid an eye on British DJ and producer Transcode for an awful time before finally getting him on board. With his releases on Filth on Acid (Reinier Zonneveld's uber label) and Stil vor Talent (do we really need to say any more?), Transcodes tracks were picked up by the likes of ANNA, John Digweed, Laurent Garnier. We're sure that these huge names will be very pleased with what Transcode has done with Maksim's and Diatonik's track: It's a peak-time bomb that starts off strong but has its most epic moment in second half when an underlying synth line sneaks in and climaxes with an exciting drop. Last but not least, Berlin based producer The Reason Y joins the label. You should know him from his work on Pan-Pot's Second State label or maybe from his TRY Land parties at legendary Watergate club. All of this has happened within only three years for The Reason Y, when he first started working under this alias - insane! His remix is what you would call unusual for Jannowitz Records, mainly because of the softer kick drum he used. But nevertheless, The Reason Y's producing skills are unbelievable. His interpretation will transport you to a whole different planet which we call Dub Space - give it a listen!

German duo Hanne & Lore land on Larry Cadge’s Smiley Fingers imprint with a pair of jacking cuts on their 'Hey Hah' EP, which includes a title track that's a bassy tech house banger.

Hanne & Lore built their reputation playing some of the world's most influential venues like Tresor, Flex, Hive and Watergate, while also releasing on acclaimed imprints like Kittball, Terminal M and Monaberry. Their latest offering expands their catalogue with more dancefloor weapons featuring their crisp and clean production.
