Yesterday, i recorded this Improvisation in spite of a drilling mashine in the neighbourhood. I didn't want to let it bother me, so i put on my headphones and startet playing " Monsieur Carl Is Straying". Hope you enjoy!

Monsieur Carl Is Straying

The Air Raid Sirens wail... the innocents seek cover underground, but the onslaught continues.  Shelling and rockets from afar and bombs from above terrify and destroy without mercy as the cries of ordinary folks punctuate the air day and night. 😢 Such is Putin's war on Ukraine in the Spring of 2022.


This Track was born of a Collaboration with the WindDancer, Georg Boehme @Georg-Boehme  
We used my solo Piano track 'The Night Before Spring' as our stepping off point, with Georg adding improvised Baritone Sax, Bass Clarinet and Flute.

My Arrangement is a Tone Poem that tries to describe the war, and man's inhumanity to man. I pray that like the hopeful crescendos rising throughout the piece, that brotherhood and sanity will dawn and that peace will triumph, as the Weapons of war are beaten into ploughshares yet again.

May the heroic stand of the people of Ukraine continue to inspire and light the way for all mankind. ✌

“Moonlight Lullaby” is a piano piece with the characteristic pure and clear sound of octave playing. When I played some phrases using that method on the piano, I felt tranquil and calm such as looking at the moonlight. So I got inspired and wrote this song. Since the tempo is slow, It’s the most suitable before sleeping. I’ll be happy if you like it!
