I have again the pleasure and honour to share with you a piece composed by my good friend Jean- Pierrre Dubois (JiPé ), a small account of this piece is written below with the permission of Jean- Pierre...

The melodic theme used here is that of the song “Le temps des cerises” written around 1866-1868 by Jean-Baptiste Clément (words) and Antoine Renard (music) , and which was associated with the bloody events of “La Commune de Paris” in 1871.This song was successfully covered and recorded in 1955 by Yves Montand.
Here the form of this piece is deliberately very much inspired by Franz Schubert’s Impromptu No. 3, in G flat major D899, op. 90.

I hope you will enjoy listening and will like my interpretation of this beautiful piece...

Seagull magically touches with symphonic splendor Peter's erudite songwriting, singing, and playing, but still remains deeply personal as Father Time is personified.

Simply ticking down to each and every last release?
