Wharf Cat Records is excited to announce the Fire Dance 7” by Carson Cox (Merchandise), Sam York (WALL) and Austin Brown (Parquet Courts). This release features artwork by Wharf Cat Records OG and founding father, Sam Falls. 
The Fire Dance 7” is producer Carson Cox’s ode to downtown New York.  On “Fire Dance” and “Rene” the collaborators channel the glitz of Sam Falls’ shimmering cover artwork on tracks that resonate heat like august concrete in the city. These tracks are constructed from spliced disco rhythms, modulated synth lines, and searing guitars with Sam and Carson’s fevered vocals pulsing from all sides. This vinyl release is sure to become a collector’s item by what could accurately be described as a contemporary audio-visual dream team.
