I went to the woods because I wished to live
With purpose, on purpose, front facts to forgive
See if I couldn’t learn what it had to teach

 That I had not lived

Yet we dream, it is good we are dreaming
It would hurt us, were we awake

Think of all of the luck, we have just to drink

Yet in places unseen, think of how they might dream
Just to taste the clear drink from our fountain
