" En gros, j'ai essayé dans ce set le style de mixs que j'ai essayé de développer au cours de l'année passée. La période des confinements a été un gros moment de doute et de remise en question sur ma musique, et j'ai tenté depuis que j'ai recommencé à jouer il y a un an d'élargir la palette de styles, de sons et de tempos de mes sets pour mieux refléter toutes mes écoutes, du côté des plus aventureuses comme des plus efficaces. On trouvera donc dans le mix des choses très variées mais qui se connectent à mes yeux - et, je l'espère, à l'écoute. Des sons que j'ai joués dans presque tous mes sets cette année comme des coups de cœur plus récents, des choses injouables en club et d'autres qui font partie de mes playlists depuis des années. Bref, j'ai essayé de condenser mon esthétique et je suis ravi de présenter ce mix pour abri, dont l'invitation à la rotonde il y a un an à largement contribué à me relancer musicalement. Jungist is Hong Kong born, Eora based DJ, producer, promoter. Their sonic palette is organic, gritty, and dynamic - facilitating closed eye moments and dance floor introspection. 

Co-founder and director of Decay Audio, Jungist offers a platform for artists to take on a dark and experimental aesthetic with their events and mix series. Boosting the local scene and plugging international sounds, the mix series has become a much loved staple in the community and a place for discovery and uninhibited self expression. 

Jungist's debut release 'Dark Room' came out in 22' and features on the Bass Water Freak Out compilation. Since getting on the DAW, Jungist has since released 'I've Lost Something' on Melbourne based label Back Pocket Slammers and 'Presence' under the collaborative moniker 'Swungist' with Sydney based artist Swisherman.
