BROCKHAMPTON continue to show us why they may be one the most dynamic and refreshing new ‘boy band’ hiphop groups to rise out of the last decade. Do we prefer SATURATION II more than SATURATION? It’s hard to say right now, but we’re both leaning towards the first SATURATION. This may simply be because we had ‘virgin ears’ to their sound upon listening to SATURATION — our familiarity most likely diminished some of our enjoyment because BROCKHAMPTON are sticking with a similar theme and sonics to their first project. Not that this is a bad thing at all, in fact SATURATION II show’s us they’re still able to reinvent themselves in small way’s on many of the tracks we enjoyed. To have such a diverse collection of talents and voices in one group is exciting and intriguing.

NOISY IMAGES INTERVIEW - TALKING LIFE, MUSIC & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN

Joji's long awaited 'In Tongues' is a soft, melodic and overall hypnotizing musical ride. While Joji has probably been wanting to release an EP for many years, it almost feel's like he waited too long. The sound Joji is tapping into here is now commonplace in 2017/2018. There are a many artists creating this type of music, therefore it's harder to elicit a strong positive reaction because there's not too much different about it. Regardless, this EP is "good"...but that's it... it's pretty safe and in the box, but it's an enjoyable listen.

Jungle Beats aspires to be Australia’s plug to the best most prolific and unique hiphop artists in the world. @AlexanderPMann & @AlexSandalis host one of Australia's few, and best HipHop podcast shows. Jungle Beats is purely about creatively sharing our love for music and hiphop with energy, positivity and passion. We started this in 2015 with a weekly 1 hour hiphop show on a radio station in Melbourne. In August 2016 we decided to create Jungle Beats. To us, Australia doesn't have a strong hiphop identity within culture. Who do you think of when you think hiphop in Australia? Most think of 99 people OUTSIDE of this country. Maybe we can change that in some small way and push it forward. Jungle Beats is not what either of us focus the majority of our time on. Working on Jungle Beats Radio is side hustle of ours, so it’s not going to be perfect. It’s gonna be messy, haphazard and we’re gonna fuck up. But that’s music and we love it.
