We move on to 'The Arrival', another sci-fi infused roller with clever use of samples and stepping, rolling beats. Dark AF. Next Wobbles gives us 'Vacant'. If you like your DnB deep and moody - this one is for you. Serious production. We finish up with 'What You Told Me' - featuring Mighty Mini on the saxophone. Full Spectrum DnB from 24 Karat.

Nick The Lot returns to Grooverider’s label Prototype Recordings with the ‘Electrowave’ EP. 

2022 has been a busy year for the Brighton lad who’s had releases on labels such as Gradient, Sub-liminal, Jungle Cakes, Good 4 Nothing and his own imprint Pick The Lock. And that’s only to name a few. 
Time has flown since Nick’s ‘Extra Clips’ EP came out back in September 2020 and we’re excited to have him back.

This week we feature Alex SLK with his forthcoming release 'Grand Finale'

Prototype Recordings warmly welcomes drum and bass DJ/producer, Alex SLK all the way from Riga, Latvia. 
Broken beats took over his musical tastes in the mid 00’s, when he first heard his early influences such as Ed Rush & Optical, Skynet, Aphrodite, Calyx and Technical Itch. 
Pushing his dark & heavy signature sound, Alex has previously released on labels such as Grid Recordings, Liondub, Sub-liminal, Ransaked and more.

For the A side we have ‘Grand Finale’ which was weirdly inspired by a visit to a massive grand cathedral in Moscow and early Netsky music. Alex then added his own signature ‘rusty’ twist to achieve a massive epic vibe, tailored specifically for club soundsystems.
