In correlation with the longer nights and colder days, I’ve selected some of my favorite dark and progressive tracks. These are some of my favorite selections on the spectrum of techno.

With a new year on the horizon, we are provided an opportunity to reflect on our experiences and the lessons learned. We can sort through the memories and choose to take with us the good or the bad. We can choose to grow. To me, this music combines the deep, the emotional, and a hint of tribal with the underlying hard driven support. Jungle Jimn is a native Chicago DJ and Producer now residing on the West Coast in sunny San Diego. His signature style of driven house and melodic drums combines influences from all over including Chicago, Detroit and Mexico.

You can find him playing all over Southern California and beyond with the Casa Del Soul music collective. They focus on underground dance music events with a highlight on minimal and tribal sounds. 

Jimn currently has a release on Deep Tech Recordings that climbed its way to the top 10 Deep House charts in 2022. Keep an eye out for more original work coming out in 2023.
